Difference Between ARC Welding & GAS Welding 电弧焊与气焊的不同点

I am going to tell you about difference between arc welding and gas welding. These are the two main types of welding used in different joining process. These joining processes are used in joining same or different metal by application of heat. We can differentiate these in following aspect.
我将向你讲述电弧焊和气焊之间的区别。它们是在不同连接工艺中使用的两种主要焊接类型。这些连接工艺通过加热来连接相同或不同的金属。我们可以在以下方面区分这些。

1 ARC Welding 电弧焊

Arc welding is a welding process that is used to join metal to metal by using electricity to create enough heat to melt metal, and the melted metals when cool result in a binding of the metals. It is a type of welding that uses a welding power supply to create an electric arc between a metal stick ("electrode") and the base material to melt the metals at the point of contact. Arc welders can use either direct (DC) or alternating (AC) current, and consumable or non-consumable electrodes.
电弧焊是一种利用电产生足够的热量使金属熔化,从而将金属与金属连接起来的焊接工艺。当金属冷却时,熔化的金属会使金属凝固。它利用焊接电源在金属棒(“电极”)和基体材料之间产生电弧,在接触点熔化金属。弧焊机可以使用直流或交流电流,以及消耗或非消耗电极。

2 GAS Welding 气焊

Gas welding is a most important type of welding process. It is done by burning of fuel gases with the help of oxygen which forms a concentrated flame of high temperature. This flame directly strikes the weld area and melts the weld surface and filler material. The melted part of welding plates diffused in one another and create a weld joint after cooling. This welding method can be used to join most of common metals used in daily life.
气焊是一种重要的焊接工艺。它是通过燃烧燃料气体和氧气的帮助下,形成一个集中的火焰高温。这种火焰直接撞击焊接区域,熔化焊接表面和填充材料。焊接板的熔化部分相互扩散,冷却后形成焊接接头。这种焊接方法可以用来连接日常生活中使用的大多数普通金属。

1. In the arc welding, electricity is used to generate heat

1. In gas welding, fuel gases like acetylene, hydrogen are used to generate heat

2. This welding generates higher temperature than gas welding. The temperature is about 6000℃
这种焊接产生的温度高于气焊。温度约为6000℃
2. This welding generates lower temperature than arc welding. The temperature is about 3600℃
这种焊接产生的温度低于电弧焊。温度约为3600℃
3. This welding generates stronger joint compare to gas welding
与气体焊接相比,这种焊接产生更强的连接

4. It gives poor surface finish
它表面光洁度差

5. In ARC welding consumable electrode is used
